Our Story

Takafumi Suenaga was born in Sendai, Japan. 


He started to play the classical piano when he was 5 years old.

When he was 18 years old, he entered Tohoku University and studied physics and mathematics.

Years later he started to play the piano as professional musician and studied and performed with great musicians such as Makoto Ozone, Kei Akagi and many others.
After he graduated Tohoku university and got degree of physics, he came to the U.S. and he entered Berklee College of Music in Boston. 

Also he was selected to be a part of the honorable Berklee Global Jazz Institute, led by Danilo Perez. During his time in Global Jazz, He studied, performed, and taught clinics all around the globe with world class musicians.

In 2014, He moved in NYC and have been performed in many venues such as BlueNote in NYC, Something' Jazz club, Smalls Jazz Club, Newport Jazz Festival etc..
